Jenny Morel, Chairman

Jenny is the Founder and Managing Partner of No 8 Ventures, a major investor in Rex Bionics. For No 8 Ventures Jenny is Chairman of Surveylab and a director of a number of companies including the Martin Aircraft Company and Open Cloud. Jenny also founded the Morgo Conference, an annual get-together for people building high growth companies from New Zealand. 2012 will be the 10th Morgo. In 2006 Jenny was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business.




Jonathan Sackier

Professor Jonathan Sackier is a surgeon by training who has played a significant part in the development of many medical technologies, including laparoscopic surgery, amniotic stem cells, and the first commercial surgical robot, AESOP. While teaching at George Washington University in Washington, DC, Professor Sackier founded and funded the Washington Institute of Surgical Endoscopy, a renowned center for education, research & innovation. He is currently Visiting Professor of Medicine & Surgery at the University of Virginia.




Paul Dyson

With nearly three decades experience in the international medical device industry, Paul has contributed at senior levels in over a dozen early-stage technology companies. Presently he manages the business in the Middle East and Africa for ResMed and serves as a non-executive director of three other technology companies. In addition he is a trustee of the Northern Cochlear Implant Trust (NCIT), a not-for-profit organization in New Zealand.





Richard Little, CTO and Founder

Richard formed Rex Bionics Ltd in 2007 with fellow engineer Robert Irving to develop innovative medical robotic technology that could bring new-found mobility to many thousands of users world-wide.
With an expansive career including marine engineering, research and development, contract programme management and information technology, Richard has held senior leadership roles in medical technologies, automotive and military industries. These include a programme management role for Navman, senior leadership finance and programme positions for BAE Systems and Group Technical Director for Taisun, based in Singapore, responsible for transitioning four manufacturing companies to Asia and technical leadership for the group.
